Going back to work

So, I go back to work on Monday and I am struggling with it. I know I have had more time than most working moms do, but I still can't imagine leaving my little girl with a stranger. Braegan has changed so much in the last few weeks and she is finally smiling and laughing at me. I am scared that I will miss the important moments, like rolling over and sitting up. I know I will see them at home even if she does them at daycare, but I just want to relish every moment. This experience of motherhood is something I thought I was prepared for, but the emotions and connection I feel with her are unbelievable and I never want to be away from her. In a few weeks, I know we will be in a routine and she will love going to daycare and I will be back in a groove at work. It is just overwhelming to me that I will work all day in a stressful job and then come home and have only a short time with my little one. I guess I just needed to get this all out, so thanks for listening! I will let you all know how it goes on Monday! Hopefully I won't cry all day.

Update

Mommy needs to give a full update on what Braegan is doing these days!

* She has started smiling and gives us big smiles now!

* One of her favorite times of day is bathtime- she loves to be naked. She actually cries until I give her a bath and start her nighttime routine.

* She still sleeps a lot, but is awake for longer and longer periods now.

* During tummy time she has figured out how to roll to one side but not quite how to get all the way over. It won't be long though!

* She reaches for and grabs her toys on her toy bar and play mat.

* She loves anything with music and loves to lay in her crib and watch her mobile.

* She is sleeping through the night from about 10-6, which makes Mommy and Daddy very happy!

* She is eating about every 3 to 4 hours depending on the time of day. She goes longer in the morning than she does at night.

I can't believe she will be 3 months old on Thursday. It has all flown by and I am loving every minute I get to spend with her. She has changed so much and I think she is starting to look a little more like me- but just a little! If I continue I will get sappy so I am going to stop now!

Snow

So, Amy got mad at me for throwing a snowball at her while she was inside the house. I don't see what the big deal was...I mean I did miss the baby! Anyways, here are some pics.

"Let us in! It's cold as a tasty frozen doggie ice cream treat...which would taste good right now."

"So I was thinking about not pooping or peeing in the house....OOOH look snow! I got it, I got it!"
